My hubby and I are celebrating our 11 years relationship this year. I was thinking back on all we've been through and found one fundamental thing that keep our relationship works. What is that? Here i want to share with you.

What are your reasons to marry someone?

because you love him/her so much, because s/he is a beautiful creature in your eyes, because s/he is rich, because your parents want you to get married as soon as possible, because s/he is perfect for you at that time or what?

What are your reasons to give up with your marriage?

You don't love each other anymore, s/he is getting old and no longer beauty, because s/he dissapointed you, s/he becomes a cheater, because you both no longer have strong conection or what?

Human feelings are constantly change.

Phisical beauty is temporary.

Wealth can dissapear overnight.

And as we all know, nothing is perfect in this world.

If you build your marriage based on that matters, you already know where is it gonna end, exactly, to the unhappy things, whatever its name.

Build your marriage on your faith in God.

Because you both choose to life in a halal way instead of keep going on haram things.

Because you both choose to serve God than serving your own desire.

Because you both already know what life purpose is (to serve God and come back to Him on the day of resurrection), so you choose to get married and strive to preserve it.

Yes. I say. You both. Because it doesn't work if only you alone are working.

Make your faith in God as your reason to marry someone and to save your marriage through whatever tests may come.

Work on your marriage with God and everything will going to be fine.

May God give you a pious, loving and caring spouse.

May your marriage be a means for you both to attain Paradise.

Indeed, spouses are like garments to each other because they provide one another with the protection, the comfort, the cover, the support, and the adornment that garments provide to humans.
